Introductions
Board Status - Community Outreach is the only position left. This role could be job shared. Let Susan and/or Sarah R. know if you are interested.
RFC Survey will be coming out within the next week or so. It will go to your email address. You can do it anonymously. You can submit your name to a mailbox for raffle drawing for Cold Stone gift certificate.
Renewal Process – RFC year ends May 31st. $40 renewal fees are due June 1st. You can send the money to the P.O. Box or pay via pay pal ($41.50.) In order to renew fill out application, liability waiver, and optional photo release form. If you join in May you can pay the $40 and get May free. You can pay $20 if you just want to use the forum.
Treasurer – Balance is $4300
Community Safety Fair May 31st – Looking for people to donate Baked Goods – proceeds will be donated to charity. Looking for volunteers to help in manning bake sale table, direct traffic, take pictures, help finger print. The time will be from 10-1. Any time you can help would be appreciated. There will be a meeting on May 8th or 12th. See the board for details. Will have sign up sheets on the forum if you want to do anything that day. The Fair will be held on Northwestern at Holy Communion Church.
Fundraising – Market Day sign up
PR – Brochure is done, Will have printed before Safety Fair by end of the month
Flyer for Safety Fair – Sign up if you are willing to pass them out – preschool, husband’s work, your work, places you frequent, put name and how many you would like,
Let Amanda know if you have any ideas for marketing the safety fair. Will post an ad in the Journal Times, Racine Post, Sentinel and will purchase a sign.
Kid’s Events – April Raffle winner of those who hosted events is Kristie Carpenter. Kindermusic Event may need to change the time. Trish is going to see if she could do 2 multi-age groups in order to accommodate more.
Playgroups – Everyone is placed
4th of July Parade – no one has expressed interest in organizing it. If anyone is interested in organizing it let Amanda know.
The next board meeting is Tuesday, May 20th at Java Vino.
The next general meeting is Thursday June 5th at All Saints as of now.
